We lifted off just before dawn beneath clear skies and gentle winds, drifting gracefully over the golden plains and winding Seronera River. The morning came alive with incredible wildlife sightings hippos, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and more. From soaring ostriches to playful jackals, nature put on a spectacular show. After smooth stand-up landings, guests were all smiles, savoring a hearty bush breakfast at Middle Road. A truly magical start to the day memories made, hearts full.

We had a truly memorable flight this morning over the central Serengeti. With clear skies and gentle winds, four balloons lifted off in perfect time to greet a stunning sunrise. Our journey took us across the plains toward the Seronera River, with two balloons gliding over Valley 16 and Mukoma 6, while the others followed the river’s path to Water-pump. Guests enjoyed a mix of high-altitude panoramas and low-level wildlife encounters. Sightings were plentiful and diverse: hippos in and out of water, reedbuck, impalas, hartebeest, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, ostrich, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, topi, and a large number of elephants. Birdlife added vibrant color and movement throughout the flight. All balloons made smooth landings, and guest feedback was overwhelmingly positive. It was a peaceful and enriching morning, an experience that truly showcases the magic of ballooning over the Serengeti.

From sweeping aerial views to gentle descents, the flight offered unforgettable perspectives of the landscape below. Wildlife was abundant hippos lounging in and out of water, reedbuck, impalas, hartebeest, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, ostrich, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, topi, and a majestic parade of elephants. This morning in Seronera, four balloons rose gently with the sunrise, drifting gracefully toward Sixteen Valley. The flight offered breathtaking views and unforgettable wildlife encounters Thomson’s gazelles, hyenas, two male lions, and a cheetah mother with her cubs chasing reedbucks. We also spotted a lone giraffe and another cheetah near River Triangle, along with elephants, hippos, bushbucks, dik-diks, impalas, secretary birds, Egyptian geese, vervet monkeys, and olive baboons. After a few gentle ups and downs, we landed softly near the middle road. It was a beautiful morning in the Serengeti, and every guest left with a heart full of joy.

This morning in Seronera, five balloons rose one after another just before sunrise, gently drifting along the Sero River. The first light revealed hippos basking in and out of the pools, followed by breathtaking sightings of cheetahs, gazelles, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, dik-diks, secretary birds, Coke’s hartebeest, and impalas. With graceful ups and downs, the flight carried us to Tony’s Tree, where we touched down in a soft, upright landing. Guests were full of joy and appreciation not just for the wildlife, but for the seamless experience and heartfelt service from Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

Five balloons lifted off just before sunrise, painting the sky with color as we drifted over the plains toward the Seronera River. Three balloons glided through Valley 16, while two followed the river past Mukoma 6 and onward to Water Pump. From sweeping aerial views to treetop glides, the scenery was breathtaking. All balloons made smooth landings near Sopa V, wrapping up a truly serene journey. Wildlife sightings were abundant: hippos in and out of the water, reedbuck, impalas, hartebeest, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, ostrich, giraffes, elephants, topi, gazelles and the rare treat of both a leopard and a cheetah. Birdlife was also vibrant throughout the flight. A magical start to the day, filled with unforgettable moments and the quiet wonder of the Serengeti from above.

We drifted over Valley 16 and into Sopa Valley, enjoying breathtaking views from both high and low before smooth landings near Melia Road. Wildlife was abundant guests spotted elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, gazelles, ostrich, hyenas, warthogs, Topi, Hartebeest, and Impalas. Highlights included two Serval cats, two leopards, a cheetah, and a pride of lions with a fresh kill. Guests were thrilled by the sightings, the serenity of the flight, and the warmth of our team. We followed the Seronera River before drifting toward Mukoma Hill, enjoying breathtaking views from both high and low. Wildlife was abundant impala, topi, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, buffalo, ostrich, giraffe, elephants, zebra, and even distant lions. Smooth landings in the Mukoma area wrapped up a truly special flight. Guests were captivated by the peaceful atmosphere, rich sightings, and the signature warmth of Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

This morning brought perfect flying conditions in Central Serengeti, with all four balloons lifting off just in time for a breathtaking sunrise. We floated across Valley 16, glided past Thatch Kopjes, and soared over the Makoma Hills before making smooth stand-up landings in Makoma 4 and 6. Though wildlife was scattered, sightings were plentiful: elephants, buffalos, giraffes, ostriches, hyenas, impalas, warthogs, hartebeest, thousands of gazelles, and even a lion spotted from one balloon. Vultures and eagles circled overhead, adding to the drama of the skies. After landing, guests enjoyed a delicious bush breakfast and a peaceful morning surrounded by the magic of the Serengeti. A truly beautiful start to the day.
