"Once in a lifetime...."

My family of 5 just completed a safari which included your balloon excursion. Let me just say it was INCREDIBLE! Prior to leaving the states I had “convinced” 2 of my boys to take this adventure with me (being my 50th birthday bucket list)....when we arrived at the hotel my husband and other son had come around and wanted to experience this with us. Luckily there was one spot and one last minute cancellation! From start to finish the SBS did a top notch job. Short wait for take off...Captain Frank was great....the peaceful cruise through the Serengeti with many animal sightings....exciting drag landing (on purpose of course) had us all laughing....champagne toast and stories... and of course the delicious and extravagant breakfast with amazing views. I am so happy I was able to experience this with my whole family. I highly recommend SBS for their professionalism and of course for the entire experience I truly will never forget. It was a top highlight of our trip! (Also, worth every penny!). Thank you SBS!

"Wake up early?!"

Incredible!!! Waking up early for this is worth it because the sun rise is breath taking. During The end of December when we went the zebras and wildebeest were everywhere! 10/10 recommended and thanks to Pilot Abeid soka my mother got over her fear of heights ( at least for the next 30 minutes.)

"Don’t miss this great experience"

Is a 4:00am wake up call worth it? Yes it is! We are a family of three with our 13yr old daughter and we really enjoyed the experience and professionalism of the company. The pilot was British and explained all the safety features, how to handle ourselves during the flight etc. Not once did we felt unsafe or scared. This is so peaceful and quiet. The amazing English breakfast with champagne after the flight with a history lesson is very nice. Thanks again to everyone for this special experience!

"Wonderful balloon ride"

Serengeti Balloon Safaris did a great job. Abeid was our pilot, humorous and knowledgeable. From take off to landing everything went smoothly. I was amazed that he had the ability to move this massive balloon forward only about one foot off the ground (or so it looked from inside the balloon; this was done to get the balloon closer to the pickup jeep and road since things were pretty muddy). It was wonderful with a great champagne breakfast served a short distance from the landing site, as the sun came up on the day.

"Awesome!!!"

I have never experienced anything like this before. Nothing but a beautiful panoramic view:)) in every direction. Capt. Mohamed was the best! As was the entire support staff. The champagne English breakfast was superb! I met new friends and highly (pun intended) recommend this great experience!!!

"Not to be missed - A ne pas manquer"

Simplement génial ! Un vol à ras les pâquerettes qui permet de jouir d'une vue inouïe de la savane et des animaux à une distance courte et sympathique. Je ne peux que recommander. Simply brilliant! A flight to the daisies that allows you to enjoy an incredible view of the savannah and animals from a short and friendly distance. I can only recommend.

"Definitely a MUST DO"

We had an amazing trip which included the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and gorilla trekking in Uganda. But our balloon ride over the Serengeti was one of the top highlights of our trip. First off, the ride is very smooth -- a welcome change from the Serengeti roads! It's a totally different experience to see the animals from above. In addition to many pictures, I took a video for about a minute while we were literally floating along in silence. The only sounds you hear (besides some oohs and ahhs) are when the pilot shoots fire into the balloon to gain altitude. Just a very peaceful experience. The champagne toast and breakfast in the bush were also fun.

"A Truly Magical Experience"

Just before leaving for Tanzania my wife and I decided to book a balloon flight over the Serengeti. We had wanted to take a small plane flight over the national Park, but this was not possible. It was a very good decision to go with the balloon flight. Serengeti Balloon Safaris was an excellent choice. Our pilot "Johnny" was an extremely competent guide and flyer. I felt immediately confident in his abilities the moment that he began to explain the safety procedures and the flight plan. We had to lie on our backs as the gigantic balloon rose and we automatically became upright. The view from the air of the savanna was very, very memorable. We saw hippos, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, all from the air. The sun rise was spectacular. The landing was a little bumpy but quite an experience. The final glory was the service of a first class breakfast under the trees in a remote location. China, glass, etc. And very good company from fellow passengers. Just great!
