Our balloon flight on today in Ndutu saw the Serengeti awaken in all its glory as three balloons rose together with the sunrise. Floating over the Golini plains, we admired herds of wildebeest, zebra, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, and eland before climbing high to take in sweeping views of Ndutu and Masek lakes. Descending towards the forest, hyenas patrolled below while two balloons were treated to the sight of a male lion strolling along the road. Further along, all three balloons delighted in watching a female cheetah with her two playful adolescent cubs. The journey continued towards the Serengeti–Ngorongoro border, passing through more migration herds before smooth stand‑up landings. Wildlife highlights included zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, eland, giraffe, impala, jackal, hyena, lion, cheetah, ostrich, tawny eagle, martial eagle, secretarybird, Eurasian roller, marabou stork, and vultures. Our balloon flight in Kirawira saw the western corridor of the Serengeti at its most serene. With clear skies and gentle winds, the balloon lifted gracefully before sunrise, offering breathtaking views as we glided towards the Grumeti River and followed its winding course. Though wildlife was scattered, the sightings were remarkable: impalas, fish eagles, waterbuck, hyenas, herds of Cape buffalo, baboons, colobus monkeys, crocodiles, hippos, gazelles, and a wide variety of bird species. From soaring heights to low sweeps over the plains, every angle revealed the beauty of this wilderness. After an hour of tranquil flight, we touched down smoothly at the river’s bend. Our balloon flight on Ruaha saw the wilderness awaken in the most magical way. Both balloons rose gracefully before sunrise, gliding low over the Golini plains where herds of wildebeest, zebra, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, and the elusive eland moved across the grasslands. Hyenas patrolled nearby, while one balloon was treated to the thrilling sight of three cheetahs near the forest edge. As we floated over the forest canopy, we admired groups of giraffes, impala, and more eland. Crossing Lake Ndutu, flocks of flamingos lifted into the morning sky in a dazzling display of color. Beyond the lake, the migration continued through the forest before we drifted into the Masaw and Kusini plains. It was a morning filled with wonder and joy, with wildlife highlights including zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, eland, giraffe, jackal, hyena, cheetah, ostrich, tawny eagle, secretarybird, flamingo, lilac‑breasted roller, white stork, marabou stork, and vultures. With clear skies, gentle winds, and a spectacular sunrise, two balloons lifted gracefully before dawn and glided over the plains towards Naabi Hippo Pool. We followed the Seronera River, enjoying serene views before both balloons touched down smoothly near One Nature. Wildlife sightings were abundant and memorable: lions, serval, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, hyenas, hartebeest, topi, reedbuck, impala, elephants, warthogs, zebras, and a rich variety of birdlife including European storks, ostriches, lappet-faced vultures, lilac-breasted rollers, and black-bellied bustards. Our balloon flight today saw clear skies, gentle winds, and a flawless launch as two balloons rose gracefully before sunrise, drifting towards Naabi Road and the Hippo Pool. From the very start, the Serengeti revealed its magic—vast herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains, with lions, hyenas, and other predators keeping a watchful eye nearby. As we floated lower, hippos bobbed in the river while others trotted back to its sanctuary. One balloon was perfectly positioned to witness a lone leopard prowling through the vegetation—a rare and thrilling sight. The journey continued across the plains towards Fuji Hill, where reedbuck, secretary birds, tawny eagles, hawks, hartebeest, topi, warthogs, buffalo, and more hyenas enriched the spectacle. Guests were especially delighted by ostriches running below us, marveling at how these flightless birds could not join us in the skies. Both balloons touched down smoothly near Fuji Hill, followed by a celebratory champagne toast. The morning concluded with a delicious SBS Bush Breakfast along Middle Road, where guests enjoyed fine food and lively conversations with their pilots, who shared stories of ballooning and life in the Serengeti. Our balloon flight today saw breathtaking skies and perfect weather as two balloons gracefully lifted off before sunrise, drifting towards the hidden valley. Soon after takeoff, we were surrounded by the wonders of the Serengeti large herds of wildebeest, elegant Thomson’s gazelles, majestic elands, towering ostriches, and the intriguing presence of hyenas and jackals. The panoramic scenery unfolded beautifully, keeping us enchanted for hours. As we descended, we floated directly above the great migration, witnessing countless newborns among the herds a truly moving sight that spoke of life’s renewal. Our landing was smooth and upright, a perfect touch down. On the way to breakfast, nature offered us yet another unforgettable moment: three cheetahs feeding on a wildebeest calf, a raw reminder of the circle of life. It was an extraordinary experience filled with awe and appreciation, and we extend heartfelt thanks to Serengeti Balloon Safaris for making this journey so memorable.

Under clear skies, five balloons launched gracefully before sunrise, drifting towards Valley 16 with excellent visibility at both high and low levels. Guests were thrilled by the incredible wildlife sightings vast herds of wildebeest and zebras on migration, lions hunting, cheetah, a rhino in the korongo, reedbuck, secretary birds, ostrich, hartebeest, topi, warthogs, hyenas, elephants, and giraffes. Landings varied north of Makoma Two Hill, with smooth drags and gentle tips, all adding to the adventure. The morning concluded with a joyful breakfast at Middle Road, where guests shared their excitement and appreciation for such a magical experience in the skies with SBS.

Our balloon flight today in Ndutu was truly magical. Just before sunrise, we lifted off towards the forest and were immediately greeted by large herds of wildebeest, many with newborn calves, alongside Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles. As we floated over the woodland, guests delighted in sightings of giraffes, impalas, marabou storks, and numerous tawny eagles. The panoramic scenery was breathtaking we made a full 360-degree turn that everyone enjoyed, before drifting gently towards Miti Mitatu. We ended with a smooth landing, followed by a joyful breakfast shared with all our guests. It was a morning filled with wonder, wildlife, and unforgettable memories.
