This morning in Seronera, the skies were calm and welcoming as five hot air balloons gracefully lifted off at sunrise, painting a magical start to the day. Our flight offered breathtaking views and exceptional wildlife sightings. Guests were thrilled to spot a rich variety of animals including numerous hippos, two majestic male lions, elegant giraffes, distant herds of buffalo, impalas, bushbucks, dik-diks, and many Thomson’s gazelles. The plains were alive with zebras, hyenas, jackals, and a vibrant array of bird species. The balloons gently navigated through different areas of the Serengeti, with each landing executed in a soft drag and upright position smooth and safe for all aboard. To top off the experience, our guests enjoyed a delightful English breakfast in the bush, surrounded by nature and the warmth of Serengeti hospitality. This morning in Seronera greeted us with calm skies and a gentle breeze, perfect for ballooning. Four balloons lifted off together at sunrise, creating a breathtaking scene despite the presence of low clouds. Shortly after takeoff, we spotted elephants near the launch site, followed by a large herd of Cape buffaloes. The flight over Sixteen Valley Plain revealed a vibrant tapestry of wildlife Thomson’s gazelles, topis, jackals, Coke’s hartebeest, giraffes, impalas, reedbucks, zebras, warthogs, and even a pride of lions with five playful cubs. Gentle ascents and descents carried us across the Melia plains, offering varied perspectives of the Serengeti’s beauty. Two balloons landed gracefully to the left, while the other two touched down close together on the right all in perfect upright position. Our guests were all smiles, savoring every moment of their Serengeti Balloon Safari. The experience was crowned with a delightful English breakfast served in the open air a fitting end to an unforgettable morning.

A beautiful morning greeted us in Ruaha as all passengers arrived on time, ready for an unforgettable adventure. Our balloons soared gracefully all the way to R-22, near the scenic Hondohondo picnic site. Along the way, guests were treated to wonderful sightings of elephants and giraffes, impalas, kudu, jackals, and a delightful variety of birds. The landscape came alive beneath us, offering peaceful moments and breathtaking views. With a gentle breeze guiding us, we enjoyed a soft and steady landing. Smiles and stories were shared over our signature bush breakfast, making this morning flight one to cherish.

After a night of heavy rains, the morning sky over the Serengeti was cloaked in soft clouds, setting a dramatic backdrop for our adventure. Passenger arrivals were timely, and all balloons lifted off smoothly for what turned out to be a spectacular flight. Our journey followed the winding Mara River, offering guests incredible sightings of hippos, crocodiles, Sacred Ibis, Egyptian geese, a wildebeest carcass, and majestic Marabou storks. The Oxbow region was alive with Topi, wildebeest, zebra, and impala, painting a vivid picture of the Serengeti’s rich biodiversity. As we drifted toward Sayari, the recent rains had drawn large herds of wildebeest back into the area, many still migrating north toward the Mara River. Alongside them were zebra, impala, eland, and a few Topi. Elephants graced our views in Duma Plains and again near our landing site at Machochwe. After smooth and graceful landings, guests were welcomed with a celebratory champagne toast followed by our signature Serengeti Balloon Safaris bush breakfast, served to the highest standard in the open air. Smiles all around, our happy guests departed on time to reunite with their safari guides carrying memories that will last a lifetime.

We lifted off at sunrise with three balloons soaring together into the golden sky. Gliding low over the plains, guests were treated to breathtaking wildlife sightings a cheetah near the hippo pool, playful hippos, majestic elephants, two male lions, gazelles, impalas, ostriches, hyenas, jackals, dik-diks, buffaloes, zebras, and a solitary lion just before landing. The flight ended with a gentle upright touchdown near Fuji, leaving everyone smiling and fulfilled. It was a magical morning filled with awe, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Today began with a clear sky and a golden sunrise as our guests arrived right on time for their balloon adventure. Elephants greeted us just after launch, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey. We drifted gracefully along the Mara River, where nature unveiled its wonders hippos, crocodiles, Sacred Ibis, and a gathering of vultures and Marabou storks around wildebeest remains. The Oxbow was alive with hyenas, gazelles, topi, zebra, impala, and countless wildebeest. As we followed the river toward the airstrip, a majestic tower of giraffes welcomed us. Along the way, we spotted fish eagles, baboons, guinea fowl, and more river wildlife. Little Paradise lived up to its name, offering larger herds of wildebeest mingling with zebra and topi. After a smooth landing and a celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature SBS bush breakfast served with care and tradition. Smiles all around as they departed to reunite with their safari guides, hearts full from a morning of magic.
