Our journey followed the valley’s curve, ending in smooth stand-up landings near Mukoma 4. Wildlife was abundant gazelles, topi, warthogs, reedbuck, ostriches, giraffes, and a vibrant array of birdlife. This morning in Seronera greeted us with clear skies and gentle winds ideal conditions for a breathtaking balloon safari. As the sun rose, all three balloons lifted gracefully into the air, gliding over the golden plains toward Valley 16. Guests were treated to incredible wildlife sightings, including hyenas, thousands of gazelles, topis, hartebeest, and elegant giraffes. Flying low along the river toward Middle Road, we spotted hippos, zebras, baboons, impalas, more giraffes, and even crocodiles basking near the banks. Vultures and eagles soared nearby, adding to the magic of the morning. All balloons made smooth stand-up landings near the iconic Breakfast Tree, where guests enjoyed a delicious bush breakfast in the wild. Spirits were high, smiles were plenty, and everything ran beautifully another unforgettable morning with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

Two balloons touched down smoothly at Mokama 4, while the third landed near Fuji Hill each descent as serene as the journey itself. Wildlife sightings were plentiful and heart-stirring. Our guests were thrilled to spot lions, elephants, hippos, and even a cheetah with her cubs. The plains came alive with gazelles, impalas, topi, hartebeest, dik-dik, giraffes, warthogs, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and a vibrant array of birdlife including secretary birds, white-bellied bustards, and guinea fowl. All balloons made gentle landings in the serene Sopa Valley. Though wildlife sightings were modest, guests were treated to glimpses of lions, distant elephants, serval, reedbuck, Thomson gazelles, impalas, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, and a variety of birds including ostrich, tawny eagle, and lappet-faced vulture. All balloons made smooth landings near the Hole and Bushtops Camp. Though wildlife was a bit scattered today, guests were treated to unforgettable lion sightings, along with giraffes, hyenas, hartebeest, warthogs, impalas, gazelles, reedbuck, ostrich, and even distant elephants. Raptors like vultures and eagles soared above, adding to the magic. After landing, a warm bush breakfast was served and smiles all around confirmed a truly memorable morning in the skies.

This morning in the heart of the Serengeti, our Seronera balloon flight began under clear skies and gentle winds. As the sun rose, two balloons lifted gracefully into the air, offering guests breathtaking views of the plains and the winding Seronera River. A perfect glimpse of the hippo pool added to the magic before smooth stand-up landings at Salad Bowl, just steps away from our breakfast site. Wildlife sightings were abundant and unforgettable herds of buffalo, elephants, hippos, reedbuck, bushbuck, Thomson gazelles, dik-diks, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, and a vibrant array of birdlife including secretary birds, martial eagles, white-backed vultures, Fisher’s lovebirds, sacred ibis, and Egyptian geese. After landing, guests were welcomed with a traditional champagne toast and treated to our signature SBS bush breakfast, served with warmth and care. It was a morning filled with serenity, wonder, and cherished memories in the skies above the Serengeti.
