Our pilots are some of the most experienced and knowledgeable balloon pilots in the world. They've been flying balloons on every continent, they know the areas that we fly, their history, wildlife, ecosystems, and love sharing this with our guests. Serengeti Balloon Safaris Chief Pilot Capt. Abeid Soka has been appointed Tanzania's first ever pilot examiner for all balloon pilots by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority

We continually seek the best insurance available for our industry and for the year 2026, we have US$10,000,000 cover with no individual sub-limit.

Maintaining our reputation
We have our own fully equipped maintenance facilities and factory certified technicians, who are trained and retrained in Europe on a regular basis.
