Smooth landings and a delicious breakfast rounded off a magical experience that left every passenger smiling.

Clear skies and a brisk wind greeted us this morning in central Serengeti. Two balloons rose with the sunrise, while a third followed shortly after. We drifted low across Valley 16 and Makoma Hills, spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and more. Landings were smooth, and guests enjoyed a delicious bush breakfast. Though the flights were shorter, the views and wildlife made it a truly memorable highlight of the safari.

Guests enjoyed excellent visibility and were treated to unforgettable wildlife sightings large herds of Thompson Gazelles, Buffalo, Elephants, Topi, Hartebeest, Giraffe, Zebras, Wildebeest, a Serval Cat, and many Lions. All balloons had smooth stand‑up landings, followed by a delightful breakfast at Middle Road. All three balloons lifted gracefully, drifting over the plains towards Downeys Dam with early sightings of cheetahs, hippos, reedbuck, and gazelles. One balloon continued to Makoma Hills while the others followed the river, all making smooth stand‑up landings. Guests were treated to stunning views and wonderful wildlife encounters elephants, buffalos, lions, serval cats, giraffes, baboons, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, warthogs, and more. A beautiful morning at Kati Kati greeted us with gentle winds and soft clouds. All balloons lifted smoothly into the sky, where a pride of lions welcomed us from below. We drifted across the Serengeti at varying altitudes, catching speed and direction before gliding low over vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Landings at Middle Road were calm and effortless, completing a truly memorable flight. Wildlife sightings were abundant lion, topi, Thompson’s gazelle, giraffe, hippo, zebra, hawks, eagles, storks, vultures, hyena, wildebeest, guinea fowl, and even the African hare. Guests were delighted by the adventure, praising the flight, breakfast, and service. It was a day filled with wonder, wildlife, and joy an unforgettable Serengeti experience with SBS.
