A flawless morning greeted us with clear skies and a golden sunrise as guests arrived right on time. Our balloons drifted gracefully along the Mara River, revealing hippos, crocodiles, Sacred Ibis, and dramatic scenes of wildebeest carcasses surrounded by vultures and Marabou storks. The Oxbow was alive with wildlife Thomson’s gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and impalas. From the river to the main road, scattered herds of zebra and wildebeest filled the plains, with waterbuck and giraffe near the airstrip and elephants spotted near Mara Mara Road. One balloon even had the thrill of seeing lions near Sayari. After smooth landings, guests celebrated with a champagne toast and a beautifully prepared bush breakfast. Spirits were high as everyone departed happily to rejoin their safari guides another unforgettable morning in the Serengeti.

Under clear skies and a golden sunrise, our balloons lifted gently into the air. Despite a few weather-related delays, most guests arrived on time, and the morning unfolded beautifully. We floated along the Mara River, greeted by hippos, baboons, crocodiles, and sacred ibis. Vultures and marabou storks circled above wildebeest carcasses, painting a raw and powerful picture of the wild. The Oxbow offered sightings of gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, and guinea fowl while just beyond the river, hyenas were spotted on a fresh kill. From the river to the main road, scattered herds of wildebeest and zebra roamed freely. Elephants and giraffes appeared near the airstrip, and further on, Little Paradise and Mara Mara revealed more zebra, impala, wildebeest, and two beautiful herds of eland. After a smooth upright landing, guests toasted with champagne and enjoyed a high-standard bush breakfast. Spirits were high as they reunited with their safari guides, carrying memories of a truly magical morning.

A beautiful sunrise and clear skies set the tone for a magical morning. Balloons lifted off smoothly, drifting along the Mara River with stunning views of hippos, crocodiles, storks, and vultures. Guests spotted gazelles, impala, zebra, wildebeest, elephants, giraffes and even a lion basking near Sayari. The journey continued with more wildlife near Machochwe, Miracle Camp, and Kati 1. After gentle landings and a champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature bush breakfast. Smiles all around as they rejoined their safari guides, hearts full of an unforgettable flight.

Despite a cloudy morning and light rain at launch, conditions soon cleared for a beautiful flight along the Mara River. Guests enjoyed sightings of hippos, crocodiles, sacred ibis, and a variety of wildlife including hyenas, wildebeest, topi, warthog, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. A special highlight was spotting three lions near the main road and two ostriches near Machochwe. Scattered herds stretched from the river to Sayari, with larger groups near Mara Road and beyond camp. The flight ended with smooth landings and a celebratory champagne toast, followed by a high-standard bush breakfast. We welcomed guests on time this morning under clear skies, and the Mara River gifted us a truly beautiful flight. Along the way, we spotted hippos, crocodiles, fish eagles, and sacred ibis, with hyenas, wildebeest, warthogs, zebras, impalas, and giraffes gathered around the Oxbow. A lovely herd of elephants was seen near the launch site at Koga and again near Sayari. As we continued, more wildlife appeared along the flight path including lions near the airstrip and Sayari. After smooth landings, guests enjoyed a champagne toast followed by our signature bush breakfast, served to a high standard. Spirits were high as everyone departed on time to rejoin their safari guides.

This morning, four balloons rose gently into a sky softened by clouds, tracing the winding path of the Mara River. Guests watched hippos, crocodiles, and scavenger birds stir beneath them, the river alive with movement. As the flight drifted out across the plains, the Serengeti revealed its wonders zebra, eland, giraffes, elephants, hyena, and even a lone cape buffalo. Though the sunrise stayed hidden, the magic was unmistakable. After landing, guests toasted with champagne and shared stories over breakfast, surrounded by birdsong and open skies. The peaceful flight, rich wildlife, and heartfelt hospitality made for a truly memorable experience.

Clear skies and gentle winds made for a smooth launch just after sunrise. River crossings revealed hippos, hyenas, and scavenger birds, while balloons inflating downwind created a stunning view behind us. We drifted across the plains with steady steerage, spotting zebras, wildebeest, elephants, antelope, warthogs, and a lone giraffe. A lilac-breasted roller added a splash of color to the morning. All balloons landed upright after about an hour, with happy guests and another beautiful Serengeti morning to remember.

A calm morning at the launch site set the tone for a graceful take-off, with Derek, Frank, and I lifting off in sequence. The sky filled with balloons drifting gently downwind a breathtaking sight that delighted our guests from the very start. We enjoyed smooth steerage and crossed the Mara River twice, keeping a respectful altitude over the water. Along the banks, guests were treated to a remarkable scene: hippos, crocodiles, and scavenger birds, with wildebeest gathering in anticipation of a crossing truly unforgettable. The plains offered a rich tapestry of wildlife: zebra, giraffe, elephant, eland, reedbuck, warthogs, hyena, and even a male lion. The abundance and variety made for a magical flight, leaving our guests deeply moved and thoroughly satisfied.
