This morning in Kogatende, our balloons lifted off smoothly under clear skies, revealing a breathtaking sunrise and setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure. Drifting along the Mara River, guests enjoyed sightings of hippos, crocodiles, Egyptian geese, marabou storks, and even a wildebeest carcass. The Oxbow added to the excitement with wildebeest, hyenas, Thomson’s gazelles, and impalas. As we floated toward Sayari, the plains came alive with mixed herds of wildebeest and zebra, alongside impalas, elands, waterbucks, topis, and graceful towers of giraffes near the airstrip. After gentle landings and a celebratory champagne toast, guests were welcomed to our signature Serengeti Balloon Safaris bush breakfast served with warmth and care in the heart of the wild. Smiles and happy hearts marked the end of a truly magical morning in the Serengeti.
