Today’s balloon safari at Kati Kati began under clear skies and steady winds, setting the stage for a flawless launch down the scenic SOPA Valley. Our pilots soared high to find direction, then gently descended over herds of Thompson’s gazelle, buffalo, and hippo, offering breathtaking views from above. Wildlife sightings were truly magical lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebra, wildebeest, hyenas, and a vibrant array of birdlife including hawks, eagles, storks, and vultures. Even the elusive African hare graced us with its presence. All balloons landed smoothly near One Nature and Salad Bowl, where guests were welcomed with a delicious bush breakfast beneath Tony’s Tree. The morning was filled with joy, gratitude, and glowing compliments for the flight, the service, and the unforgettable experience with SBS.

Our balloon flight today in Seronera began under clear skies with steady winds, allowing for a smooth and graceful launch from Kati Kati. We climbed high to find the perfect path, then gently descended over stunning herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The Serengeti was alive with wildlife lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, topis, hyenas, Thompson gazelles, and even the elusive African hare. Above us, hawks, eagles, storks, and vultures soared, adding to the wonder of the morning. All balloons landed safely near the road to Classic Camp/Kumu Kumu, and guests were welcomed with a delicious breakfast at River Tree. Smiles and joy filled the air as everyone celebrated a truly unforgettable experience with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

A beautiful morning in Seronera greeted our three balloons with brisk winds and soft, cloudy skies. We floated gently over Valley 16, Mukoma Hill, and Mukoma 6, where smooth landings completed the journey. Wildlife was abundant Gazelles, Hartebeest, Topi, Hyenas, Warthogs, vibrant birds, Cape Buffalo, Zebras, Wildebeest, Elephants, Jackals, Giraffes, and even Lions made memorable appearances. It was a morning of magic and connection, with breathtaking views and unforgettable moments shared by all.

This morning’s flight began with a graceful takeoff under gentle winds, guiding our balloons in a wide right turn toward the iconic Maasai Kopjes. The skies were calm, and the views below were nothing short of spectacular. Guests were treated to an abundance of wildlife, including a mama cheetah with two playful cubs, hippos both in and out of the water, numerous Thomsons gazelles, crocodiles, elephants, a striking, white-tipped tail jackal, hyenas, distant lions, topi, reedbucks, and three solitary male buffaloes. After a scenic journey, all balloons landed smoothly in a soft drag upright position. The morning concluded with our signature Serengeti Balloon Safaris champagne toast and a beautifully prepared bush breakfast, served to the highest standard. Smiles all around as our happy guests departed, filled with joy and unforgettable memories from their time above the Serengeti.

Three balloons rose gracefully into the sky, drifting over the vast Serengeti plains toward Valley 16 and onward into the scenic Sopa Valley. Each balloon touched down with smooth standup landings, completing a serene and memorable flight. Wildlife sightings were scattered but rewarding. Guests spotted a variety of animals including Ostriches, Gazelles, Cokes hartebeest, Hyenas, Warthogs, several bird species, a herd of Cape Buffalo, Zebras, Elephants, a rare Serval cat, and a majestic pride of Lions. The experience left our guests deeply moved, with hearts full and cameras brimming with memories. Our balloon flight today in Seronera began with a dramatic twist. We arrived at the launch site under pouring rain, with shifting winds and waterlogged balloons. Despite the challenging conditions, our dedicated crew worked tirelessly to inflate the balloons slowly without passengers, allowing them to stand and dry. Just before 7am, we launched, and the morning transformed into something truly magical. As we ascended, a breathtaking scene unfolded below. A vast herd of buffalo stretched across the horizon, flanked by two magnificent male lions with striking dark manes. Flying south-west, we witnessed hyenas chasing gazelle, a male lion stalking Topi, and a lioness guarding a fresh kill. The highlight of the flight was a rare sighting of a mother rhino and her calf, peacefully roaming the open plains an unforgettable moment shared by all. After a gentle stand-up landing, guests enjoyed the traditional champagne toast followed by a beautifully presented breakfast. What began as a challenging morning turned into a spectacular safari experience, filled with awe, wonder, and joy.

We launched at sunrise, drifting westward along the Seronera River under golden skies. The morning offered excellent game viewing, with sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, lions, ostriches, lilac-breasted rollers, and a vibrant variety of birdlife.
