Kogatende welcomed us with a spectacularly clear morning and a brilliant sunrise. Guests arrived promptly, and two balloons rose gracefully with the first light of day. We floated along the river, where hippos and crocodiles stirred in the water and wildebeest carcasses marked the passage of migration. The Oxbow offered sightings of giraffes, Thompson’s gazelles, warthogs, hyenas, and elegant Egyptian geese. As we left the riverbanks, smaller herds of wildebeest mingled with zebra, impala, and giraffe on the way to the airstrip. Near Little Paradise, we spotted eland and more giraffe, with mixed herds greeting us near Mara Mara Road. After smooth landings and a celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature SBS bush breakfast served with warmth and care. With hearts full and spirits high, they departed on time to reunite with their safari guides.

A spectacular morning greeted us with clear skies and a brilliant sunrise. Guests arrived on time, and two balloons lifted off gracefully one right at sunrise, the other shortly after. We cruised along the river, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and remnants of the great migration. The Oxbow revealed giraffes, Thompson gazelles, warthogs, black-backed jackals, and Egyptian geese. As we drifted away from the river, smaller herds of wildebeest, zebra, impala, giraffe, and elephants appeared near the airstrip. Around Little Paradise, we saw eland, more giraffes, and elephants close to our landing site at Mara Mara Road. Near the breakfast area, a mixed herd of wildebeest and zebra was joined by a large group of elephants, delighting our guests with unforgettable wildlife moments. After smooth landings and a celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature SBS bush breakfast, served with care and excellence. Smiles and gratitude filled the air as they departed to reunite with their safari guides hearts full and memories made.

A gentle overcast morning greeted our flight in Kogatende, with golden sunrays breaking through the clouds to light our way. We floated peacefully along the Mara River, spotting Hippos, Crocodiles, Egyptian Geese, and echoes of the Great Migration. At the Oxbow, Impala and Elephants graced the banks, while further towards Sayari, herds of Wildebeest, Zebra, and Eland stretched across the plains. A tender moment unfolded near Miracle Base with an Elephant and her Calf, and a magnificent herd of 40 Elephants was seen near Mara Mara Road. Lions made a regal appearance near Sayari, with three separate sightings adding excitement to the morning. After smooth landings, guests raised a toast with champagne and enjoyed a beautifully prepared bush breakfast an unforgettable Serengeti experience.

More Elephants were seen on the Kogatende side of the river and again near Sayari, where wildlife density grew even more impressive. Around Sayari and along Mara Mara Road, guests enjoyed spectacular views of larger herds of Zebra, Impala, and Wildebeest, with a particularly striking concentration near camp. After smooth standup landings, guests celebrated with a champagne toast and indulged in our signature Serengeti Balloon Safaris bush breakfast served to the highest standard in the heart of the wilderness. Once airborne, we descended and followed the winding Mara River, offering guests stunning views of hippos, crocodiles, Egyptian geese, and wildebeest carcasses powerful reminders of nature’s cycle. As we passed the Oxbow bend, sightings included warthogs, impalas, wildebeest, and a group of hyenas. Approaching Sayari, we encountered a larger concentration of migrating wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and a few elands. These herds extended all the way to the Mara Mara road. Impalas appeared in impressive numbers, and a beautiful elephant herd was spotted near the breakfast site. After a smooth and upright landing, guests enjoyed the traditional champagne toast followed by a beautifully presented breakfast of the highest standard. The experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all, marking another unforgettable morning with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.
