Our balloon flight today was truly magical. We lifted off from Ndutu under gentle winds, drifting gracefully toward the forest. A few playful ups and downs carried us over the shimmering lake, before both balloons glided across the second woodland and the vast marshland. The panoramic scenery was breathtaking, and together we soared into the wide-open plains near the border of Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Our landing was soft, with a gentle drag and a tender tip at the end an adventure that felt both thrilling and serene. Wildlife blessed our journey in abundance: elegant giraffes, herds of wildebeest, mighty buffaloes, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, tiny dik-diks, soaring vultures, majestic eagles, marabou storks, yellow-bellied storks, and even a cheetah with her very small cubs. It was a day filled with wonder, connection, and heartwarming moments an unforgettable chapter in our holiday together.
