A beautiful morning in Kogatende greeted our guests with a timely takeoff and a breathtaking sunrise. We followed the Mara River, spotting hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, impalas, guinea fowl, and Egyptian geese along the banks. The highlight was four lionesses resting near a fresh kill, while hyenas and vultures cleaned up nearby. As we floated on, we enjoyed sightings of zebras, elephants, giraffes, topis, elands, and large herds of migrating wildebeest. Guests celebrated with a champagne toast and our signature Serengeti Balloon Safaris bush breakfast an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Our balloon flight in Tarangire began with a smooth takeoff under a golden sunrise. Winds were tricky, guiding us low to the east and southeast at 1500 feet MGL. We floated for 71 peaceful minutes before landing gently between the river and the new camp an intimate, bushy spot made perfect by calm winds. Wildlife sightings included elephants, zebras, jackals, impalas, giraffes, and a rare Janet cat. Guests were thrilled by the adventure and the serene landing, making it another unforgettable morning with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

We lifted off at sunrise over Tarangire, drifting gently toward Silale Swamp before climbing to 1800 feet AGL. A slow but scenic path led us toward Sopa Lodge, offering breathtaking panoramic views that our guests adored. Descending near Sopa, we spotted zebras, impalas, elands, wildebeest, hyenas, secretary birds, and vultures wildlife at its finest. We touched down softly near Pure Tented Camp, upright and smooth. We launched at sunrise, drifting westward along the Seronera River under golden skies. The morning offered excellent game viewing, with sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, lions, ostriches, lilac-breasted rollers, and a vibrant variety of birdlife. Our flight in Tarangire began with a stunning sunrise, drifting gracefully along the landscape with excellent steerage. Shortly after takeoff, guests were treated to sightings of a male lesser kudu, elands, and zebras. We ascended for panoramic views before descending near Sopa Lodge, where the wildlife continued to impress giraffes, impalas, dik-diks, cape buffaloes, a vulture’s nest, ostriches, and tawny eagles all made appearances. A soft, upright landing near Ndove Junction marked the end of a serene journey.
