Seronera
05 December 2025
Our balloon flight today in Seronera saw the skies open to clear horizons and gentle winds. Both balloons lifted gracefully at sunrise, drifting towards the Sopa Valley where the golden light revealed the Serengeti in all its splendor. Despite some localized burning, visibility remained excellent, allowing guests to marvel at an abundance of wildlife: large herds of Thompson Gazelles, Blue‑Hipped Topi, Cokes Hartebeest, Giraffes, Zebras, and a rich array of birdlife including Vultures, Eagles, Secretary Birds, and the majestic Kori Bustard. The highlight was sightings of Elephants, Hyenas, and even a proud Male Lion. Both balloons touched down with gentle tip‑over landings at Makoma 4, after which guests were escorted to Middle Road for a celebratory bush breakfast. It was a truly magical morning in the skies with Serengeti Balloon Safaris an experience our guests cherished deeply.
