This morning’s flight began with calm, graceful launches just in time for sunrise. As the balloons lifted into the golden light, gentle winds carried us along the Seronera River, offering peaceful views of the landscape waking up below. After a smooth climb, we caught a perfect track toward the Salad Bowl, where we touched down with soft landings. Along the way, guests were treated to incredible wildlife sightings elephants moving through the trees, buffalo grazing quietly, and Thompson’s gazelles bounding across the plains. Giraffes, warthogs, hippos, and even lions made appearances, adding to the magic of the morning. After landing, a delicious bush breakfast awaited, served with warm smiles and unforgettable views. This morning, under a blanket of soft clouds and brisk winds, one of our balloons gently rose into the sky over the Northern Serengeti. As the sun peeked through, we drifted along the Mara River, its winding path guiding us past hippos lounging in the water and crocodiles basking on the banks. From there, the balloon glided over golden hills, offering sweeping views of the untouched wilderness. Wildlife was abundant graceful impalas and topi dotted the plains, warthogs scurried below, and elegant giraffes moved through the trees. We spotted elephants, elands, zebras, wildebeest in motion, and the powerful silhouettes of Cape buffalo. A chorus of birds added music to the morning air. Our guests were captivated by the serenity and spectacle of it all. With a smooth landing near the Mara Mara road, the adventure ended just as beautifully as it began. It was a morning of wonder, connection, and unforgettable memories in the heart of the Serengeti.

Wild Winds and Wondrous Sights Over the Mara, The day began with crisp winds and clear skies at Koga, setting the stage for an exhilarating journey. Balloons rose effortlessly into the morning light, drifting down the Mara River with grace and quiet thrill. From above, the Serengeti came alive herds of zebra and wildebeest on the move, giraffes gliding through acacia groves, and birds of prey soaring alongside us. Guests spotted eland, topi, hippo, hyena, and even the elusive African hare, each sighting adding to the magic. After gentle landings across the plains, a warm bush breakfast awaited served with smiles, stories, and the kind of joy only a morning in the wild can bring. With the sun rising behind us, we gently lifted off and drifted over the Mara River, spotting elephants, giraffes, impala, ostrich, bat-eared foxes, fish eagles, and more. The flight offered serene views and rich wildlife at every turn. After a smooth landing, guests enjoyed our traditional champagne toast and the story of ballooning’s origins. Breakfast was served in the heart of the savannah, with sightings of gazelles, crowned cranes, baboons, and birds adding to the magic. Being the only balloon in the sky made the experience even more special and many guests called it the best breakfast they’ve ever had on safari.
