Today’s flight in Kogatende began with clear skies and a gentle sunrise launch. We drifted peacefully over the Mara River, spotting hippos and crocodiles below, and continued across the Lamai Oxbow where giraffe, gazelle, hyenas, and marabou storks greeted us. As we floated toward Ubuntu, herds of zebra, wildebeest, topi, and impala filled the plains, along with buffalo, elephants near the airstrip, and black-backed jackals near Kati 1. A truly special moment unfolded near our breakfast site 19 ostrich hatchlings with both parents in view. After a smooth landing and a joyful champagne toast, guests savored our signature SBS bush breakfast and departed with full hearts and unforgettable memories.

Today’s flight from Kati Kati was nothing short of magical. Under clear skies and gentle winds, our balloons drifted gracefully down the SOPA Valley, offering guests breathtaking views of the Serengeti. We soared above herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, and were treated to an unforgettable sighting of a large pride of lions. The morning unfolded with incredible wildlife encounters cheetah, giraffe, hippo, hyena, eagles, vultures, and more. Smooth landings, a beautiful bush breakfast, and heartfelt smiles made it a truly special day. Our guests were thrilled, and we’re honored to share these moments in the wild with them.

Our balloon flight in Kogatende today saw a serene sunrise launch with all guests arriving on time and spirits high. We gently floated over the Mara River, greeted by hippos and crocodiles below, and continued past the Lamai Oxbow where gazelles, guinea fowl, hyenas, and elegant water birds added to the morning charm. Wildlife was abundant giraffes, zebras, impalas, eland, topi, and a majestic buffalo herd. Elephant sightings were especially memorable, with herds near Sayari, Simbavati, and again at landing. A rare serval cat near AA Camp added a touch of magic to the journey. After a smooth landing, guests celebrated with a champagne toast and enjoyed a beautifully prepared SBS bush breakfast. With hearts full and smiles wide, they departed on time to continue their safari adventure.

Our balloon flight today saw a magical start as two balloons gently rose with the sun over the central Serengeti. With soft winds and partly cloudy skies, we drifted northward, tracing the Seronera River and gliding over the golden Fuji plains before smooth stand-up landings near Tree One Road. The plains came alive with wildlife graceful gazelles, towering giraffes, playful warthogs, and herds of zebras and wildebeest. We were also treated to sightings of buffaloes, reedbuck, bushbuck, dik-diks, baboons, hippos basking in and out of water, a stealthy serval cat, curious hyenas, and even lions in their morning calm. A truly unforgettable morning in the heart of the wild.

We enjoyed a beautiful morning flight from Kirawira with calm winds guiding us gently toward Sixteen Valley. The day began with wonderful wildlife sightings warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, and hyena setting the tone for an unforgettable safari. As we floated onward, guests were thrilled to spot a cheetah with two cubs, impalas, ostriches, several prides of lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topi, Coke’s hartebeest, and elegant giraffes. The panoramic views offered a full 360° spectacle of the Serengeti’s magic. Our landing was soft and upright, bringing a perfect close to the flight. Guests were full of joy and appreciation, especially for the warm hospitality and delicious bush breakfast that followed. It was a truly heartwarming day with Serengeti Balloon Safaris one that will live long in the memories of all who flew.

A beautiful morning greeted us at the Kirawira Launch site with clear skies and gentle, variable winds. Our balloon lifted smoothly into the air, drifting gracefully over the Grumeti River. As the winds shifted north, we ascended to higher altitudes to remain on the southern side of the river, offering guests stunning panoramic views. Wildlife sightings were abundant and magical Waterbuck, Topi, Thompson Gazelle, Zebra, Giraffe, Guinea Fowl, and even the elusive African Hare graced our flight path. The serenity of the skies and the richness of the landscape made for an unforgettable journey. After landing, guests were treated to a delicious bush breakfast in a picturesque setting. Compliments flowed freely for the flight, the warm hospitality, and the overall experience. It was a day filled with joy, wonder, and the kind of memories that stay with you forever. This morning’s flight over central Seronera was nothing short of magical. All four balloons lifted gracefully into the sky just in time to greet a breathtaking sunrise. Drifting over golden plains toward Valley 16 and tracing the river’s gentle curves, we touched down with smooth stand-up landings on Middle-Road. The wildlife was abundant and awe-inspiring. Guests were treated to sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards with playful cubs, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Elephants, hippos, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, gazelles, impalas, dik-diks, bushbucks, reedbucks, and a stunning array of birds including vultures and eagles completed the spectacle. After landing, we gathered for a hearty bush breakfast. While most enjoyed the serene setting, we noted that two tables lacked shade, leaving some guests and pilots under the full morning sun a detail we’ll improve for future flights. Every moment was filled with wonder, and we’re grateful to have shared this unforgettable experience with our guests.

Under clear skies and calm winds, four balloons rose gracefully with the sunrise, gliding over the golden plains toward Valley 16 and continuing across the scenic Makoma Hills. Each balloon landed smoothly at Makoma 4 and Makoma 6, marking the end of a truly serene journey. Wildlife sightings were abundant guests witnessed the great migration of Zebra and Wildebeest, along with Lions, Elephants, Hyenas, Gazelles, Impalas, Topi, Hartebeest, Reedbuck, Giraffes, Warthogs, Buffalo, and a vibrant array of birdlife. After landing, a delicious breakfast was served in the bush, where smiles and stories filled the air. It was a morning of wonder, warmth, and unforgettable memories with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

We arrived to clear skies and calm winds at Koga, where one balloon launched smoothly and drifted north along the Mara River, offering breathtaking views of a large wildebeest herd surrounded by Eland, Topi, Zebra, Giraffe, and Thompson Gazelle, with a Lion resting on an island in the river; the flight ended with a gentle landing just south of the Mara Mara Road Junction. Throughout the journey, guests spotted an incredible array of wildlife including Lions, Elephants, Hippos, Hyenas, Eland, Topi, Thompson Gazelle, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe, African Hare, Hawks, Eagles, Storks, Vultures, Gray Heron, Blue Heron, and Guinea Fowl. After landing, a delicious breakfast was served at our signature spot, where guests shared their excitement and praised the smooth flight, abundant sightings, and exceptional service, making it a truly unforgettable experience with SBS.
