Today’s flight in Seronera was nothing short of magical. Four balloons lifted off before dawn, gliding gently beneath a blanket of low clouds. The Serengeti came alive with breathtaking sightings elephants, buffaloes, lions (including a proud male and a full pride), hippos, a leopard, giraffes, bushbucks, reedbucks, tawny eagles, and countless Thomson’s gazelles. The panoramic views led us on a beautiful journey across the plains, with all balloons landing smoothly in upright position. Another unforgettable flight with Serengeti Balloon Safaris began with a breathtaking sunrise over the first hippo pool. All four balloons glided gracefully above a large herd of Cape buffalo, followed by scattered elephants across the plains. Guests were thrilled to spot a pride of lions with playful cubs, wildebeest, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, and even a leopard lounging near a pond. The experience was crowned with a gentle upright landing in the lush grasslands. Every moment was pure magic an adventure that left our guests smiling long after touchdown.

This morning’s flight was nothing short of spectacular. Just after takeoff, as the sun rose over the horizon, we were greeted by a large herd of Cape buffaloes a breathtaking sight in the golden light. Flying low over the plains, we spotted a cheetah with her cub, more buffaloes, elephants, hippos, a lioness strolling gracefully, and a pride of lions with playful cubs. Zebras, hyenas, Thomson’s gazelles, and giraffes added to the rich tapestry of wildlife below. The panoramic views were stunning, and the gentle ups and downs of the balloon gave everyone a chance to soak in the beauty from different angles. We ended with a soft, smooth landing a gentle tip-over that brought smiles all around. A truly joyful morning with happy guests and unforgettable memories.

As the sun rose over the Serengeti, we lifted off gently into golden skies, beginning a peaceful journey toward the river. Our first sighting hippos resting in the water set the tone for a serene adventure. Drifting northward, we glided above elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, ostriches, and even a bat-eared fox. A final pass over the river revealed hippos lounging in the last big pool, a perfect farewell to the wildlife below. Guests cherished the tranquility of being the only balloon in the sky, with no vehicles in sight just the raw beauty of nature. After a smooth landing near the track, we toasted with champagne and shared the story of ballooning’s origins. Breakfast brought more magic: elephants and hippos in the riverbed, jackals, baboons, and a crowned crane nearby. Guests praised the warm hospitality and seamless experience delivered by the SBS team a morning to remember.

Scattered herds of wildebeest and zebra stretched across the plains, with larger gatherings of impala, topi, and zebra near Mara Mara Road and camp. As we floated toward Machochwe, sightings continued with eland, warthogs, hyenas, and elephants near the landing area. All three balloons touched down gracefully, marking the end of a truly magical journey. Guests celebrated with a champagne toast and enjoyed a beautifully prepared SBS bush breakfast. With hearts full and spirits high, they departed to rejoin their safari guides carrying memories of a morning they’ll never forget.

This morning in the heart of the Central Serengeti, five balloons rose into the sky under clear skies and a golden sunrise. A brisk wind carried us gently over the open plains toward the Seronera River, offering breathtaking views from both high and low. Wildlife was abundant and awe-inspiring reedbuck, impalas, hartebeest, warthogs, hyenas, ostriches, giraffes, elephants, topi, dik-diks, gazelles, zebras, hippos, and several lions graced our path. Birdlife filled the air, adding to the symphony of the wild. After smooth drag landings in the Waterpump area, guests were all smiles, filled with wonder and gratitude for the unforgettable journey above the Serengeti.
