SERENGETI SOUTH. Serengeti Balloon Safaris passengers have been thrilled with some amazing flights in Serengeti South over the migration. The majority of female wildebeest have now given birth to their calves on the short grass plains. The attraction of many thousands of young calves has resulted in increased predator activity with Cheetah, lions and hyena taking full advantage of this bonanza. Balloon passengers have witnessed some amazing predator hunting activity from a unique perspective.

CENTRAL SERENGETI. The Seronera River Valley is green and beautiful at this time. Regular sightings from the balloon include leopard, lions, Serval, breeding herds of elephant and a large herd of buffalo numbering some 500 or so animals in addition to many other species.
