Our balloon flight in Kirawira saw the western corridor of the Serengeti at its most serene. With clear skies and gentle winds, the balloon lifted gracefully before sunrise, offering breathtaking views as we glided towards the Grumeti River and followed its winding course. Though wildlife was scattered, the sightings were remarkable: impalas, fish eagles, waterbuck, hyenas, herds of Cape buffalo, baboons, colobus monkeys, crocodiles, hippos, gazelles, and a wide variety of bird species. From soaring heights to low sweeps over the plains, every angle revealed the beauty of this wilderness. After an hour of tranquil flight, we touched down smoothly at the river’s bend. Our guests were filled with joy and wonder, cherishing an unforgettable morning with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.
