Seronera was truly magical, under clear skies and gentle winds, three balloons lifted off at sunrise and glided gracefully over Valley 16 and the Makoma hills, before making smooth landings at Makoma 4. The plains came alive with wildlife Lions, Elephants, Hyenas, Gazelles, Impalas, Topi, Hartebeest, Reedbuck, Giraffes, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, and a vibrant array of bird species. Our guests were delighted by the sightings and ended their morning with a hearty breakfast, cherishing an unforgettable experience with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

This morning’s balloon flight over Lamai was a serene and awe-inspiring experience, with mostly cloudy skies, gentle winds, and a softly veiled sunrise setting the tone for a magical journey westward across the plains. From lofty heights to low-level glides, guests enjoyed breathtaking views and a smooth landing near Sanctuary Lodge. Wildlife was abundant throughout the flight migrating herds, Gazelles, Topi, Reedbuck, Warthogs, soaring Vultures and Eagles, Hyenas on a fresh kill, elegant Giraffes, a striking male Lion, and numerous Elephants and Cape Buffaloes all contributing to an unforgettable morning immersed in nature’s beauty.

Kogatende began with a gentle lift-off under soft, cloudy skies, as our guests arrived on time and full of excitement. Drifting gracefully over the Mara River, we spotted Hippos and Crocodiles basking below, followed by a scenic glide past the Lamai Oxbow, where Zebra, Buffalo, Impala, Thomson’s Gazelles, and Hyenas welcomed us from the plains. Crossing the river once more, we encountered additional pods of Hippos before continuing over the open savannah. Wildlife sightings became more scattered, with pockets of Impala, Zebra, a Buffalo herd, and a few Wildebeest, while a majestic Tower of Giraffes stood tall near Siringit. Closer to the SBS base, we were treated to a lively mix of Wildebeest, Zebra, and Hyenas. After a smooth landing, guests celebrated with a traditional champagne toast and enjoyed a delicious SBS bush breakfast served with care and flair. With hearts full and cameras brimming, they departed on time to reunite with their Safari Guides carrying memories of a truly unforgettable morning in the Serengeti skies.

This morning’s balloon safari over central Serengeti was simply magical seven balloons rose into clear skies at sunrise, drifting gracefully over Valley 16 and the Makoma Hills before landing smoothly at Makoma 4. Guests were treated to breathtaking views and abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, a cheetah with cubs, serval, hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, buffalo, and a vibrant array of birds. The adventure ended with a delicious bush breakfast and smiles all around, making it a truly unforgettable experience with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

A clear morning sky greeted our guests, who arrived on time and lifted off just as the sun began to rise painting the Mara in golden hues. The flight glided gracefully over the Mara River, revealing hippos basking and crocodiles lurking below. At Lamai Oxbow, we spotted hippos returning to the water, alongside black-backed jackals, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, and giraffe. Crossing the river again, even more hippos made their presence known. As we soared across the plains, wildlife became more scattered but still enchanting: impala, zebra, eland, and wildebeest dotted the landscape. A majestic tower of giraffes appeared near Little Paradise, with more along Duma Plain. Elephants graced us near the airstrip and again just before landing. A delightful surprise an ostrich pair with 16 hatchlings added to the morning’s magic. After a smooth landing and celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature SBS bush breakfast, served with care and excellence. Spirits were high as everyone departed on time to rejoin their safari guides, hearts full and memories made.

This morning in Seronera greeted us with clear skies and gentle winds ideal conditions for a breathtaking balloon safari. As the sun rose, all three balloons lifted gracefully into the air, gliding over the golden plains toward Valley 16. Guests were treated to incredible wildlife sightings, including hyenas, thousands of gazelles, topis, hartebeest, and elegant giraffes. Flying low along the river toward Middle Road, we spotted hippos, zebras, baboons, impalas, more giraffes, and even crocodiles basking near the banks. Vultures and eagles soared nearby, adding to the magic of the morning. All balloons made smooth stand-up landings near the iconic Breakfast Tree, where guests enjoyed a delicious bush breakfast in the wild. Spirits were high, smiles were plenty, and everything ran beautifully another unforgettable morning with Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

This morning in Kogatende began with clear skies and calm winds perfect conditions for a peaceful balloon safari. Guests arrived on time, and the balloon lifted gently into the air, beginning a scenic journey across the Mara River. Wildlife sightings were plentiful along the riverbanks, with hippos, crocodiles, black-backed jackals, zebra, wildebeest, and hyenas making early appearances. At Lamai Oxbow, we watched hippos returning to the water, adding to the morning’s charm. As we continued downstream, more hippos and crocodiles revealed themselves in the quiet flow. Out on the plains, wildlife was more scattered but still captivating. We spotted impala, zebra, eland, and wildebeest, with a graceful tower of giraffes near the airstrip and others dotted along the flight path. Between Mara Mara and Machochwe, mixed herds kept the landscape lively and engaging. After a smooth stand-up landing and a celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed a beautifully prepared bush breakfast. Spirits were high as they departed to reunite with their safari guides grateful for a morning filled with serenity, wildlife, and the magic of Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

Flight began under a soft, overcast sky with calm winds guiding our balloon gently into the air. Guests arrived on time and were soon floating peacefully above the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles lounged in the morning light. Eland grazed near the Lamai Oxbow, and as we followed the river’s curve, more hippos and crocodiles appeared below. Crossing the plains, we spotted zebra, impala, eland, and small herds of wildebeest. Near Sayari, a large buffalo herd stood proudly, watched over by two male lions and a lioness nearby. As we approached Mara Mara, the plains came alive with more zebra and impressive wildebeest herds, gradually thinning as we neared our landing site. After a smooth descent and celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed a beautifully prepared bush breakfast. Spirits were high as they departed to rejoin their safari guides grateful for a morning filled with wonder, wildlife, and the magic of Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

This morning’s flight over the heart of the Serengeti was simply magical. Under soft overcast skies and gentle winds, three balloons lifted gracefully into the air, drifting across the golden plains toward Valley 16 and onward to the Makoma Hills. Two balloons touched down smoothly at Mokama 4, while the third landed near Fuji Hill each descent as serene as the journey itself. Wildlife sightings were plentiful and heart-stirring. Our guests were thrilled to spot lions, elephants, hippos, and even a cheetah with her cubs. The plains came alive with gazelles, impalas, topi, hartebeest, dik-dik, giraffes, warthogs, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and a vibrant array of birdlife including secretary birds, white-bellied bustards, and guinea fowl. After landing, guests were treated to a delightful bush breakfast, rounding off an unforgettable morning with Serengeti Balloon Safaris where every flight is a story written in the skies.
