This morning in Seronera, four balloons rose gently with the sunrise, drifting gracefully toward Sixteen Valley. The flight offered breathtaking views and unforgettable wildlife encounters Thomson’s gazelles, hyenas, two male lions, and a cheetah mother with her cubs chasing reedbucks. We also spotted a lone giraffe and another cheetah near River Triangle, along with elephants, hippos, bushbucks, dik-diks, impalas, secretary birds, Egyptian geese, vervet monkeys, and olive baboons. After a few gentle ups and downs, we landed softly near the middle road. It was a beautiful morning in the Serengeti, and every guest left with a heart full of joy.

A flawless morning greeted us with clear skies and a golden sunrise as guests arrived right on time. Our balloons drifted gracefully along the Mara River, revealing hippos, crocodiles, Sacred Ibis, and dramatic scenes of wildebeest carcasses surrounded by vultures and Marabou storks. The Oxbow was alive with wildlife Thomson’s gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and impalas. From the river to the main road, scattered herds of zebra and wildebeest filled the plains, with waterbuck and giraffe near the airstrip and elephants spotted near Mara Mara Road. One balloon even had the thrill of seeing lions near Sayari. After smooth landings, guests celebrated with a champagne toast and a beautifully prepared bush breakfast. Spirits were high as everyone departed happily to rejoin their safari guides another unforgettable morning in the Serengeti.

As the sun rose over the plains, our balloon lifted gently into the sky, gliding toward the river where hippos and crocodiles stirred in the morning light. We climbed higher, drifting peacefully above the Serengeti, with breathtaking views of elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras, gazelles, and even a bat-eared fox below. With no other balloons in sight and no vehicles on the ground, guests were immersed in pure tranquility just the whisper of the wind and the vast beauty of the wild. After a smooth landing near the road, we gathered for the traditional champagne toast and a brief tale of ballooning’s history, followed by a short walk to a beautifully prepared bush breakfast. Guests shared heartfelt compliments on the experience, the warm service, and the quality of the breakfast. It was a morning of wonder, serenity, and unforgettable memories.

This morning in Seronera, five balloons rose one after another just before sunrise, gently drifting along the Sero River. The first light revealed hippos basking in and out of the pools, followed by breathtaking sightings of cheetahs, gazelles, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, dik-diks, secretary birds, Coke’s hartebeest, and impalas. With graceful ups and downs, the flight carried us to Tony’s Tree, where we touched down in a soft, upright landing. Guests were full of joy and appreciation not just for the wildlife, but for the seamless experience and heartfelt service from Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

Under clear skies and a golden sunrise, our balloons lifted gently into the air. Despite a few weather-related delays, most guests arrived on time, and the morning unfolded beautifully. We floated along the Mara River, greeted by hippos, baboons, crocodiles, and sacred ibis. Vultures and marabou storks circled above wildebeest carcasses, painting a raw and powerful picture of the wild. The Oxbow offered sightings of gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, and guinea fowl while just beyond the river, hyenas were spotted on a fresh kill. From the river to the main road, scattered herds of wildebeest and zebra roamed freely. Elephants and giraffes appeared near the airstrip, and further on, Little Paradise and Mara Mara revealed more zebra, impala, wildebeest, and two beautiful herds of eland. After a smooth upright landing, guests toasted with champagne and enjoyed a high-standard bush breakfast. Spirits were high as they reunited with their safari guides, carrying memories of a truly magical morning.

A spectacular morning in the central Serengeti greeted us with clear skies and gentle winds ideal conditions for ballooning. Five balloons lifted off just before sunrise, painting the sky with color as we drifted over the plains toward the Seronera River. Three balloons glided through Valley 16, while two followed the river past Mukoma 6 and onward to Water Pump. From sweeping aerial views to treetop glides, the scenery was breathtaking. All balloons made smooth landings near Sopa V, wrapping up a truly serene journey. Wildlife sightings were abundant: hippos in and out of the water, reedbuck, impalas, hartebeest, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, ostrich, giraffes, elephants, topi, gazelles and the rare treat of both a leopard and a cheetah. Birdlife was also vibrant throughout the flight. A magical start to the day, filled with unforgettable moments and the quiet wonder of the Serengeti from above.

This morning’s flight from the Kenya Border launch site began under clear skies and light winds ideal conditions for a smooth takeoff. Winds carried us gently north and west, offering stunning aerial views of wildebeest, zebra, hyena, and ostrich. We reached maximum altitude over the plains, gliding above large herds of wildebeest before making a soft, stand-up landing near our breakfast site. Wildlife sightings were plentiful and memorable, including Thompson gazelles, topi, vultures, and a marabou stork. Guests enjoyed a delicious bush breakfast and were full of praise for the flight, service, and overall experience. It was a truly special morning, and we’re grateful to share these moments with your travelers.

Guests spotted gazelles, impala, zebra, wildebeest, elephants, giraffes and even a lion basking near Sayari. The journey continued with more wildlife near Machochwe, Miracle Camp, and Kati 1. After gentle landings and a champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature bush breakfast. Smiles all around as they rejoined their safari guides, hearts full of an unforgettable flight.

We launched under clear skies and gentle winds, drifting north and west across the plains. The flight offered stunning aerial views of wildebeest, zebra, hyena, ostrich, and large herds below as we reached maximum altitude. Additional sightings included Thompson Gazelle, Topi, Vultures, and a graceful Marion Stork. We landed smoothly near our breakfast site, where guests enjoyed a delicious meal in the bush. Spirits were high everyone was thrilled by the sightings, the serene flight, and the warm SBS hospitality. A truly beautiful morning in the Serengeti.
