We had a fantastic flight in Lamai today under perfect flying conditions. Though our two guests left Singita a bit late, the balloon lifted just as the sun rose, casting golden light over the plains. Drifting southwest toward the Mara River, we were treated to breathtaking views and abundant wildlife. The flight path offered sightings of large migration herds, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, ostriches, mongoose, hippos, hartebeest, topis, hyenas, eagles, vultures, warthogs, waterbucks, elands, gazelles, and impala. After a smooth stand-up landing near Legendary Camp, guests enjoyed a delightful bush breakfast and shared their joy already booking another private balloon flight in Sasakwa on the 19th.

Seronera

Our balloon flight in Seronera today saw a breathtaking sunrise under clear skies and gentle winds, as four balloons gracefully lifted off into the morning light. We floated over the plains toward Valley 16 and followed the Seronera River, enjoying stunning views and abundant wildlife. Sightings included gazelles, topi, hippos, reedbuck, bushbuck, dik-diks, elephants, giraffes, lions, a cheetah, and a variety of beautiful bird species. After smooth stand-up landings near Middle Road, guests were treated to a delightful bush breakfast and left with hearts full of an unforgettable Serengeti Balloon Safari experience.

Seronera

We had perfect flying conditions this morning in Central Serengeti, allowing all five balloons to launch smoothly and catch a stunning sunrise over the plains. The flight took us toward Sopa Valley at varying altitudes, offering guests breathtaking views and memorable wildlife sightings including gazelles, giraffes, hyenas, warthogs, impalas, reedbucks, ostriches, vultures, hartebeest, topis, a few zebras, distant buffalo, eagles, and secretary birds. One balloon spotted a cheetah, another saw lions, and a lucky group even glimpsed a leopard. While wildlife was a bit sparse today, the serene flight and golden morning light made for a beautiful experience, and guests were delighted. The post-flight bush breakfast was well-organized and enjoyable, rounding off a smooth and satisfying adventure.

Tarangire

Our balloon flight today in Tarangire was truly heartwarming, beginning with calm winds and a gentle takeoff toward Elephant Rock. The morning unfolded beautifully with abundant wildlife sightings warthogs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and elephants greeted us early on. As we floated higher, we encountered impressive numbers of cape elands, impalas, ostriches, a solitary male giraffe, and a lone bull elephant, each adding to the magic of the journey. The panoramic 360-degree views were breathtaking, and we landed softly in an upright position, much to the delight of our guests. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Serengeti Balloon Safaris, especially the warm and well-organized bush breakfast that followed.

Ruaha

Our balloon flight today in Ruaha was another heartwarming experience. We took off just after sunrise and floated north for about 20 minutes before climbing to 900 feet, guided gently southward by a 6-knot breeze. The journey offered serene views and delightful wildlife sightings, including elephants, giraffes, ostriches, hippos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, and a ground hornbill. We landed close to the breakfast site with a smooth descent, and all our guests were genuinely happy with the experience a beautiful morning shared with nature and smiles.

Kirawira

Sunrise Safari Over Kirawira This morning’s flight was nothing short of magical. With clear skies and gentle winds, our balloon rose gracefully just in time to greet the sunrise. We drifted peacefully over the golden plains, tracing the winding path of the Grumeti River nearly the entire journey. Wildlife sightings were abundant and awe-inspiring gazelles, waterbuck, topi, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, buffalo, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and even a lion in pursuit of wildebeest. We ended with smooth stand-up landings near breakfast, hearts full and spirits lifted by the beauty of the Serengeti.

Seronera Sunrise Safari Perfect flying conditions greeted us in Central Serengeti this morning, and all four balloons lifted off in time to catch a breathtaking sunrise. We floated over the plains toward Valley 16, then gently soared above the hills before smooth landings in Makoma 4. The views were spectacular, and wildlife sightings were plentiful cheetahs, lions, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, gazelles, buffalo, dik-dik, impalas, ostriches, hartebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, and more. Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a truly memorable morning in the heart of Seronera.

Kogatende

15 October 2025

A spectacularly clear morning greeted us in Kogatende, with all passengers arriving on time and the balloon lifting off just as the sun rose over the horizon. We cruised peacefully along the river, spotting hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest carcasses, and a variety of birdlife including fish eagles, Egyptian geese, and marabou storks. The plains offered sightings of gazelles, impala, warthogs, baboons, black-backed jackals, zebra, giraffes, waterbuck, and banded mongoose. After smooth landings and a celebratory champagne toast, guests enjoyed our signature bush breakfast served to the highest standard. Smiles all around as they departed to rejoin their safari guides, hearts full of a truly memorable morning.

Today’s balloon safari in Seronera was truly magical, with all five balloons lifting off smoothly into a golden sunrise under perfect flying conditions. Our flight path offered breathtaking views over the plains, riverbanks, and woodlands, including scenic passes through Water Pump and Salad Bowl. Wildlife sightings where exceptional guests were thrilled to spot 6 cheetahs, 2 prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hundreds of hippos, and a vibrant mix of hyenas, jackals, crocodiles, gazelles, ostriches, monkeys, and more. Landings were gentle, breakfast was delightful, and the entire experience from takeoff to touchdown ran seamlessly, leaving our passengers with hearts full and memories to last a lifetime.
