A gentle overcast morning set the scene as our balloons rose over the Serengeti. Winds guided us swiftly back to the Mara River, still flowing strong and full of life. Guests were treated to a beautiful array of wildlife wildebeest on both banks, zebra herds, eland, buffalo, and playful gazelle. One balloon spotted three lions after crossing the river, and another had the rare joy of seeing a leopard near Sayari. Birds filled the skies: marabou storks, vultures, secretary birds, and cheerful guinea fowl. All balloons landed smoothly, wrapping up a peaceful and memorable morning in the wild.

We launched under soft overcast skies, with sunshine gently greeting us after landing. Winds were calm on the surface, brisk aloft, offering limited steerage. The Mara River surged with dramatic force its banks eroded, debris drifting, and wildebeest gathered in the hundreds alongside zebras. Wildlife sightings were exceptional: hyena, giraffe, elephant, eland, impala, and gazelle dotted the plains. One lucky balloon spotted a leopard and warthogs. Above, marabou storks and vultures soared, with a few elegant secretary birds in flight. All balloons enjoyed smooth, stand-up landings ending the morning on a graceful note.
