"Unbelievably Awsome Flight"

WOW WOW WOW, from someone who thought she was going to sit on floor of basket for the flight, a little bit scared! WOW that didn’t happen, from the second we arrived at the launch location I felt an excitement, we climbed in & had a great pilot, Zumo Godlivimo who took us for the ride of our lives. Our basket kissed the long grass to give us an amazing feeling of being right there with the animals & then we were soaring high in the sky, we were looking down over the Serengeti & the wild animals, lions, Giraffe, Gazelle, Hippos & much more, I never wanted it to end but it did & then this experience continued. We were welcomed by the pilots who told us the history of Balloon Flying, so interesting & wait for it, we had a full English breakfast on the Serengeti. It was one of the best experiences of my life & I feel enriched for doing it. A must in my opinion❤️

"One of our Favourite excursions in Tanzania"

Early start on this one , set out from Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp at 4.40am for about an hour journey to the launch site . Dawn was just about breaking when we were giving our flight briefing . To our amazement we were taking off with the basket laying on its side . What an adventure though , a few of us were a bit apprehensive . But there was no need need to be . Great pilot knew exactly what he was doing . The basket drags along the ground for a bit and then rights itself . What an amazing spectacle . Gas burner roaring we gently took off . What an absolutely serene experience . At times we were just feet from the ground brushing the grass with the basket and a few squirts of the burner we up with the vultures soaring in the sky . The pilot in complete control all the time . Looking down on the Serengeti drifting silently with the wind most of the time , it was a fantastic experience . It didn’t end there . We drifted for about and hour seeing all types of wildlife from this unique vantage point . Before landing and being dragged back onto the side of the basket . Everyone squealing and squeaking with delight . It just gets better . After a very short walk we enjoyed a couple of glasses of bubbly and a short drive we sat down at laid tables for a full English breakfast enjoyed open air looking out over the gobsmacking view of the Serengeti . With another couple of glasses of bubbly we were set up for the rest of the day . A thoroughly recommended all round brilliant experience . Absolutely loved it . CabbiesDoKilimanjaro.com will be returning to Tanzania it really is Africa’s Best Kept Secret

"Extraordinary !!!!"

We got there at 6am, they were already blowing air in the baloon. After a safety briefing, the Canadian pilot set us to get in the basket and off we flew. Over the river, over the savanna, we had a great view of the game : elans, wildebeast obviously, zebra, giraffes and great birds! It was an extremely exciting way to watch the animals, from the sky with u binoculars. We landed softly, and then they had prepared a bush breakfast! With proper toilet even. We got the full English breakfast, with eggs, mushrooms, fruits, butter and marmalade. We loved every minute of it.

"Brilliant experience"

Our pilot Jonathan was so good at putting everyone at ease and it was very easy to feel comfortable and safe. The ride itself was breath taking and definitely a ‘pinch me’ moment. Then afterwards we had a lovely full English breakfast with champagne....just a brilliant way to start the day 😊

"Amazing Experience"

My wife and I chose to go on our first Hot Air Balloon ride in the Serengeti National Park. The cost is not exactly cheap but it was definitely worth it!! Our pilot Jonathan was amazing and he ensured a very smooth take off, ride and landing…all with the maximum professionalism. The view is breath-taking even though we flew pretty closed to the ground and we didn’t see a lot of animals because there weren’t many in that area at that time (but this of course it’s something you can’t control). The toast with champagne after landing was lovely and the full english breakfast with more champagne was delicious. Everything was well organised and it’s something that I definitely recommend!

This was a truly great experience - travelling over the Serengeti in a hot air balloon will be something we will remember for a long time. Great people, professional operated and very worthwhile.

"Serengeti Balloons"

It’s too expensive - but fantastic, there are a few balloons to choose in the Serengeti but the one in northern Serengeti near the Mara river during the Wilderbeast ( and many other animals)migration is fantastic and un forgettable .,try and pick the weather and winds if possible as will make a big difference. Bucket list experience! Breakfast afterwards also great spread !

"Would ride again"

A glorious adventure with Serengeti Balloon Safaris. Captain Jonathan was exceptional, absolutely world-class. Knowledgeable, charismatic, weird accent but kind of funny, he delivered a fantastic Serengeti experience. Having a chance to come along on this ride made an already amazing place that much more wonderful. Created memories for a lifetime with the drinks, drives, flights, and excellent company. Those flight certificates are pretty great too aren't they??
