NEWS! 2012
We are flying a balloon in Serengeti South (on the Serengeti National Park plains close to Ndutu). This balloon operates seasonally from December 25th to March 31st and we expect wonderful flights over and around the spectacular wildebeest and zebra migration together with attendant predators. N.B. A valid Tanzania National Park tourist entrance fee is payable for passengers coming from outside of the Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti Balloon Safaris are also delighted to announce that they are now also operating Balloon Safaris in Serengeti Western Corridor. This Balloon will service clients staying at Grumeti River Camp, Kirawira Camp and Mbalageti Camp.

Flight report, Capt. Frank Bellantoni. Serengeti South 10th January 2012
Jambo all,
We had another amazing flight this morning!
We lifted off just before sunrise with our 16 passengers, we had spectacular views of the southern Serengeti, Ngorongoro conservation area, Ngorongoro highlands and Lake Ndutu and of course the great migration.
The Wildebeest and Zebra migration was before us as far as the eye can see. Other wildlife sightings included Ostrich, bat-eared Fox, African hare, Kori bustards, Vultures, Gazelles and about 20 Hyena. As we reached near the end of our flight and were preparing for landing we had the opportunity to view the fastest cats in the Serengeti the Cheetah a total of 3.
Our flight lasted one hour and 5 minutes with a very smooth drag landing south of the Soit Ngum Kopjes where we gathered together for a traditional champagne toast and a short history of how ballooning all began. We drove through the great migration to finally arrive at our bush breakfast where we continued in the celebration.
Our 16 passengers had a super Out of Africa breakfast and an exciting experience with Serengeti Balloon Safaris. All passengers were delighted.
